Mashatu Game Reserve is situated at the confluence of the great Limpopo and Shashe Rivers in the remote eastern corner of Botswana.
The transfer to the Lodge or Camp takes approximately 60 minutes and gives you a first impression of the huge Game Reserve.
Every stay on Mashatu is different. It is always worthwhile to come back.
We tried both camps, the Main Camp (Lodge) and the Tented Camp. The Main Camp offers more luxury, the Tented Camp more intimate bush experience.
We prefer the Tented Camp.
May to August it gets cold over night (8 -12 °C). Bring warm clothes for the morning game drives (warm insulated jackets) and the evenings. We just made this experience beginning of May.
